The odometer mileage is just under 153,000 for my car. We purchased it roughly in 2000 from the 2nd & 4th owner. He purchased it from a race enthusiast in Virginia who brought it over to convert for racing. It was never raced, titled, nor any emission modifications performed. The 2nd owner title it in Georgia and eventually sold it to the 3td owner who replaced the transmission and sold it back to the 2nd owner who painted the car (including the bumpers) and added the current wheels. From our research, attendance at the Fiverfest and other vintage BMW events we believe it to be one of the best M535i cars in the US of approximately 15-20. The car is always garaged and rarely driven in the rain. Some features include:
Sunroof added by 4th owner
17” wheels added
AC (needs charged)
Recaro seats
M1 steering wheel
M motorworks original engine with no emissions modifications (runs strong)
All mechanical parts/repairs are original BMW (many order from Germany)
Order original factory upholstery and replaced in 2003 (order the entire bolt and have enough to do again if ever needed)
Tool box is 100% complete and looks like new
Original carpet
No mechanical issues (mechanic is Glen’s Imports 336-883-7522)
It’s a fun car and gets lots of attention at BMW events or daily driving. My wife and I are down-sizing and have 4 vehicles and will only have room for two in the process. That is the ONLY reason I have it on the market.
