This is an original & completely standard BMW M535i (E12).

You may also notice that mine
is producing 231BHP & 238 ft Ib torque instead of the claimed 218BHP. I promise you other than the work listed
below nothing has been done to the engine other than regular oil changes & a STOCK k&n flat panel air filter &
have a rolling road data sheet to back up the BHP. I have history from the present day dating back to 1982.
As with all cars nearly 30 years old, this does need work, as stated below (all the bodywork needed are also
provided with the car at no extra cost). The car is in perfect running order with tax expiring at the end of November & the MOT up in April 2010. This car really does drive very well with a very smooth dog-leg gearbox.

The only reason I am selling my car is because I am hoping to be moving abroad in the near future & it cannot
come with me.

Apart from the front wings & stock k & n flat panel air filter the car is completely original & unmodified.
History (dating back to 05/05/82)
In the last two years its had the following:
New Track rod end
New Front & Rear brake hoses
New exhast + gasket
Various rubber rings
New rubber petrol pipes
Oil changed (twice), gearbox oil & differential oil changed
New Rotor arm
New HT leads
New Spark plugs
New fuses
New Petrol Filter
New Petrol Pump
2/3 seals replaced in the differential
New Horn
Replaced Rear Suspension (second hand)
New valves in tyres
New Battery
front passenger & drivers side foot well welded
All tyres have plently of tread

The Bad Bits (Stuff that still needs doing)
Dented drivers wing
Most of the work that needs doing is cosmetic. Due to its age there is a bit of rust to deal with (hence the low
price) in all the usual places i.e:
Both front doors (new ones supplied)
The only welding that needs doing as far as Im aware is 1 part behind drivers seat, 1 part behind passenger seat &
in the rear 2 small bits on the rear bumper section
Bonnet (underside is rusty)
Boot lid (good one supplied)
Front seat covers (are worn but the seats are pefectly fine so they just need recovering)
Door card wood lacker (Ive partly removed it as I was going to treat the wood & re-lacker)
Dash is cracked (very common with this car but doesnt cause any problems)
Differential is leaking a very small amount of oil (from the only seal that wasnt replaced!) However, Ive made sure
its always been topped up.
Drivers side wing (dented because someone decided to back into me, new one supplied)
Rear trim on chrome bumper missing (I took it off to replace it) - chrome fine
Paint work isnt fantastic but still polishes up well! (As you can see from the pictures)
However, despite these issues it passed its MOT.
Fuel guage takes some getting used to as it the fuel light comes on when the needle points to quarter of a tank
