History:
Converted for a friend of mines wife
This was one of the last MK3 escort cabriolets, only the front end differed on the newer MK4's, so we replaced all the front end bits with later MK4 bits, this included the wings, bonnet and scuttle panel. Then a complete respray sorted out any other dents and dings and allowed us too remove the door locks. The addition of the later bumpers made the transformation complete

Thoughts:
Build quality was no where near as good as BMW's

Repairs to slam panel also needed painting

Door Locks welded over and filled smooth

Secondhand bonnet was also red, this saved painting the underside

Various dings and scrapes needed attention
