History:
Jason bought the car off ebay, the previous owner had done some work to the car, but when Jason got it it was a non runner with boxes of bits inside. Fortunately all the important M stuff was still with the car.

Jason knew the car had been the 1980 Autosport test car as it came with a copy of the magazine. After getting it home he spent a good year getting it back together. Work included a new rear panel, small welding to sills and floor ,new brakes,fuel system,rebuild engine and painting the underneath and engine bay

The car is Jason's daily driver and he thinks it is great. He blames his friend Paul Carribine for getting him involved with E12's, as once Jason had driven Paul's he had to have one of his own

Carry on enjoying it and the occasional track day
